Wissahickon Charter School looks forward to celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King at both campuses over the next week. At our Fernhill Campus, the theme of the week is Many Voices Make a Movement. Each class will learn about one person who has been instrumental to the civil rights movement (either in the past or present) and create a museum exhibit to teach the rest of the school about that person's work. The Awbury campus is celebrating with a Peace Week. Activities will include an assembly, specially themed Reading Buddies, projects that students can choose, donation drives, and more.
