Rebecca Chase joined the WCS Awbury campus in 2014 in their start-up year. She has had a few different roles over the past few years from Learning Specialist to Learning Support Coordinator, and currently serves as the Assistant Director of Learning Support. Prior to joining the WCS family, Rebecca has worked at other public charters throughout the Philadelphia area in special education both as a teacher and administrator. She has received training in coaching teachers though the expeditionary learning model and has had a strong partnership with Philadelphia’s Outward Bound both as an educator and participant. Rebecca believes strongly in the concept of educating the “whole child” and strives to work with her colleagues at WCS to do just this. Rebecca loves spending time outdoors, traveling near and far, and living each day in the moment!
