This fall, each site sent a group of fourth through sixth graders to Vermont to spend a week on a working farm. Students had the chance to feed and care for farm animals, pick apples, milk cows, work in an award-winning cheese house, and more. This trip has become an annual highlight for the students who go and a valuable lesson in where food comes from. Wissahickon is grateful to the Farm for City Kids for hosting us and for the unforgettable experience!
