Over the past few weeks our classes have been studying the life and beliefs of Dr. King. Many students were inspired by his fight for justice, for fairness and equality. Many students also wondered, did his dreams come true? Have things changed for Black people? Are people still fighting for justice? So this week we are learning about the Black Lives Matter movement. This is happening right now... people all over our country are fighting for justice for Black people, for women, for families, for people living in poverty, for immigrants. This week, we'll learn and teach together about the Black Lives Matter movement and also give you a chance to share your hopes and dreams for justice.
