Pandemic EBT Benefit: May 14, 2020

As part of the CARES Act, funds are being distributed via EBT cards to households that are eligible for free meals under the National School Lunch Program. Because WCS has a schoolwide free lunch program, all families should be eligible for this benefit. If you currently receive benefits on an EBT card, the funds should automatically be added to your card in the next two weeks.  Other families will receive a card in the mail in June.  If you have moved recently, please confirm your change of address with our front office staff if you have not already done so.

For more information on the program, see here, including benefit amounts. If you have had recent changes in your financial circumstances and want to assess your eligibility for SNAP (food assistance) or other benefits, you can apply on the state's website (https://www.compass.state.pa.us) or by calling 1-877-395-8930.
